Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill

The Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill is a primary care office dedicated to treating the WHOLE person and the WHOLE family in the context of our community. We see newborn babies to the elderly.

The Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill has a long history of providing health care to our community, and we are very proud of what we do for our patients and our community.

We were developed specifically to educate residents and students in the specialty of Family Medicine, combining the best of technology and research and applying it to your care. We strive to stay on top of the newest and best developments in medicine. The variety of professionals in our office, including Behavioral Health, work in collaboration to provide the finest and most up to date care for you.

As a patient in our office, not only are you receiving the best possible care, but you are also providing an invaluable service in helping us teach. We have 21 UConn Health residents who are here for three years, and a variety of medical students who change periodically. In addition, we have two Sports Medicine fellows who are advancing their education with us. All our learners are supervised by our UConn Health faculty doctors who are fully licensed, and board certified in Family Medicine. Your care is a team effort. YOU are why we are here!

New Patients

If you or a family member would like to become a patient, please call (860) 714-4212 to make an appointment. Our front office staff will be happy to assist you. We have some bilingual physicians and staff members to care for our Spanish-speaking patients more readily. We also use translation services for patients who speak other languages. While our practice accepts new patients of all ages some of our doctors may not specifically be able to accept additional patients at the time of your call. That is why we have a team of folks who are ready to care for you. We will match you with the next best person in the team!
